If Lance Busa seems familiar to you, it is because this singer-songwriter appeared on the Philippine reality show To the Top.  Music has always been a part of this young performer’s life. In fact, Lance has been singing since the age of 5. This young singer has had gigs with live bands and has performed at small corporate events.

Hans Dimayuga

Like Lance, 28-year-old Hans Dimayuga is no stranger to music. Though he hasn’t had any television experience, Hans proudly composes and sings his own songs at parties and weddings. When he’s not making beautiful tunes, he dabbles his feet in jobs in real estate, IT, and food and beverage industry.

Michael Bolton, who is best known for his songs “Go the Distance” and “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You,” expressed his enthusiasm in doing the show.

“The show has brought me back to Asia, where I have performed and toured for over 25 years. Now I find myself deeply moved and inspired as I discover young singers with different cultural backgrounds and upbringing, but with one thing in common—pure love of singing,” Bolton said in a statement.

Joining Hans and Lance are Tsui Fang Chang (Dena) of Taiwan, Wei-Chen Lou (Holly) of Taiwan, Nawinda Sittatikarnvech (Mild) of Thailand, and Cassandra Anne and Gregory Ramanado of Malaysia.

Bolt of Talent premiered on August 16, 2017, on Star World Asia. The show also features Sandra Riley Tang and Lydia Sarunrat Deane as guest mentors and Filipino recording artist Morissette Amon as the show’s host.
